Lakey's art brings a vibrant perspective to the everyday. Color inspired by the natural world shines life and magic in the mundane on objects of all kinds. Lakey has no reservations on painting splashes of the fantastic on walls, fences, sheds, kitchen floors, windows and window frames, bedrooms, hampers, washing machines, end tables, flower pots, bookshelves, or whatever you own. Often the very things we think are trash or "cannot change" are the things that sparkle with hope and beauty when given the ability to hold art.

You can also special order items (yard art, furniture, etc.) that can be deliver within a 50 mile radius of Hot Springs< NC outside of Ducktown, TN and Murphy, NC.

Sunflower Kitchen

This project brings giant sunflowers to life on a kitchen floor and walls. The project is painted on tile prepped beforehand and sealed with polyurethane to protect the art from people treading on it.

Gnome Place Like Gnome Fence

This 10' by 8' fence line decorates an outdoor shower at a local AirBnb. Get your shed or fence painted today and make your home or AirBnb a one-of-a-kind.

Dragonfly Yard Art and Sapling Support

Sporting 6 feet in height and 7 feet in width this colorful dragonfly yard ornament was used to support a Black Walnut sapling that got pushed down by a horse in rural North Carolina.

Dragon Floor

This project brings oversized dragons to life on a bedroom floor and walls and combines them with sunflowers in a fantasy play on the magical in everyday life. The project is painted on a 70 year old wood floor prepped beforehand and sealed with polyurethane to protect the art from wear and tear caused by people treading on it.

Hummingbird Porch

This porch mural combines hibiscus, butterflies, hummingbirds and a dramatic snake to an AirBnB located in Tallahassee, Florida.

Wonderland Hamper

This is an upscaled and refurbished hamper. It went from a drab green to this bright wonderland rendition of a melting clock bound by sunflowers.

Tragedy and Comedy Foyer

This project extends from the floor up the wall and doors. It is a colorful rendition of the classic tragedy and comedy masks on tile and sealed with polyurethane to protect it from foot traffic.
